Malting Course 2023

Each year, Boortmalt welcomes industry professionals from all around the world for our highly anticipated Malting Course, a one week event which focusses on educational presentations, site tours and hands-on practical sessions. 

Throughout the week, we cover a lot of ground covering the complete malting process from barley to malt all the way beer and whisky. 

We're proud that the course is internationally recognized as a reliable source of malt and malting barley knowledge, but beyond that, we’re delighted that the Malting Course also covers more widely relevant and topical industry matters, such as regenerative farming, supply chain and the barley market, sustainability as well as innovations in the malting industry.
