Main tasks

As Installation Manager you will lead the planning, execution, and completion of equipment and infrastructure installations across the facility. This role is responsible for ensuring successful project execution—from planning to completion—while maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards, technical specifications, and company objectives.

Your responsibilities include:

Project Oversight:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee installation projects to meet scope, timeline, budget, and quality goals
  • Drive end-to-end installation planning, execution, and delivery
  • Collaborate with PM teams and plant leaders to align goals
  • Create charters, schedules, and budgets for capital projects

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with SHE, HACCP, food safety, environmental, and labor regulations
  • Ensure documentation, insurance, and ISO 50001 compliance
  • Conduct site inspections and enforce quality standards

 Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Select and qualify top-tier contractors and installation partners
  • Manage vendor activities on-site and remotely
  • Guarantee documentation and communication excellence

 Continuous Improvement & Asset Care:

  • Contribute to the evolution of the project management system, improving delivery and handover
  • Promote continuous improvement in project delivery and asset care systems, ensuring energy-efficient and sustainable installations.

People Management

  • Inspire cross-functional teams using structured project principles
  • Clarify team roles and drive ownership and accountability
  • Align culture, values, and performance for strong results

Financial & Reporting

  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and report weekly on project progress
  • Tackle issues proactively with smart, scalable solutions.

Master we are looking for ?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
  • EIT designation is required
  • Strong background in industrial installation or technical project leadership
  • Deep understanding of regulatory compliance in facility operations
  • Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven skills in team leadership, contractor management, and financial oversight
  • A passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written)
  • Competent in: AutoCAD (2D and 3D design review), MS Project (project scheduling and tracking), Office 365 (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
  • Requires Near/Far, Depth and Colour vision
  • Ability to travel regionally as required (North America)
