The SBTi approved Boortmalt’s near-term science-based emissions reduction target.

Our commitments include the absolute reduction of scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 42.0% by FY2030 from a FY2023 base year and scope 3 GHG emissions from fuel- and energy-related activities, upstream and downstream transportation and distribution, and processing of sold products 42.0% within the same timeframe.

We also commit to the reduction of FLAG (Forest, Land, and Agriculture) GHG emissions 30.3% by FY2030. 
Our goal is to actively engage with 2/3rds of our supplier base to enable the transition to regenerative agriculture practices, which puts carbon directly back into the soil.
