Are you an experienced operations leader with a passion for logistics, quality, and team management? We are looking for a Terminal Manager to oversee all incoming raw materials, outgoing products, and the storage and handling processes at our site. You will ensure operations run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all standards while leading a team of supervisors and dockworkers.
- Oversee daily terminal operations: receiving, storage, cleaning, bagging, container, and bulk handling.
- Lead and develop terminal staff, manage scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain terminal infrastructure and material handling equipment.
- Manage supplier and customer relationships to ensure smooth inbound and outbound flows.
- Monitor KPIs, report performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Handle claims or disputes related to deliveries, shipments, or product quality.
Master recherché
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- 3–5 years of experience in terminal operations, preferably in food, agriculture, or a related sector.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, internal logistics, inventory management, and safety/hygiene regulations.
- Proven people management skills.
- Proficient in AS400/JDE and Excel.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
