Main tasks
As the Silo Supervisor, you ensure safe, continuous and efficient silo operations. Through effective supervision, coaching and a strong focus on quality, you elevate both the team and the operational performance. You guarantee full compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Your responsibilities:
- Supervise daily silo operations during morning and afternoon shift; coordinate quay activities; plan & schedule shifts for operators & logistics staff
- Train, coach and and motivate operators and organize safety trainings and toolbox meetings.
- Follow- up on environmental inspections and audits; ensure compliance with CEPA, HACCP, VIK and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Support in administrative tasks: JDE registrations, invoicing, reporting on KPI’s, training, incidents, ….
- Participate in weekend/on-call duties and act as a backup for the other 2 supervisors.
Master we are looking for ?
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- You have demonstrated leadership skills, your clear and transparent communication skills enable you to be a good coach.
- You have strong planning and organizing competencies.
- You are flexible and stress resilient.
- You speak fluent Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus.
- You have experience with ERP systems
