Main tasks

The Business Controller will assist the Group Controller in financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis. This role is critical in supporting accurate financial data, ensuring compliance, and providing insights that drive business decisions. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an eagerness to grow within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Controlling

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support the consolidation of financial statements and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Perform variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Assist in scenario analysis and financial planning to support business strategy.
  • Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide insights.

Performance Monitoring & Analysis

  • Track and analyze key financial metrics such as revenue, cost structures, and margins.
  • Assist in CAPEX monitoring and investment analysis.
  • Support business units with financial data and insights to enhance decision-making.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Contribute to financial process improvements and standardization across the group.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial regulations.
  • Assist in audit processes by preparing financial data and documentation.

Master we are looking for ?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, or auditing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Oracle, Excel, Power BI).
  • Fluent in English (French or Dutch is a plus).
