Are you a proactive leader passionate about food safety, hygiene, and compliance? We are looking for a Food Safety Manager to oversee food safety and environmental compliance across our malting and silo operations. You will lead hygiene teams, drive audit readiness, and promote a strong food safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor 4 hygiene teams (+/- 30 employees), set goals, and ensure smooth workflows.
- Ensure sanitation, hygiene, and pest control programs meet all standards.
- Manage internal and external audits, corrective actions, and follow-up.
- Maintain food safety records and coordinate regulatory and customer audits.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Drive food safety culture through training and collaboration with operations, maintenance, and quality teams.
- Oversee environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
Master recherché
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Microbiology, Food Science, or related field.
- Knowledge of HACCP, environmental regulations, and food safety systems (e.g., Entropy).
- Experience in food safety, quality assurance, or environmental compliance within food manufacturing.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
