Missions essentielles

Maintenance: Perform electrical service and maintenance on plant equipment in a food manufacturing facility, ensuring production quality and quantity are not compromised. Utilize your fault-finding and diagnostic skills to address issues promptly and efficiently. Working on modern equipment requires a knowledge of instrumentation and control along with experience configuring VSD.

Safety: Prioritize safety as your utmost responsibility. Adhere to safety protocols, contribute to a zero-harm work environment, and actively participate in safety programs and initiatives.

Reliability: Input work requests into the maintenance system, track completed work, and maintain accurate records. Identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability and efficiency, and contribute to the implementation of simple electrical projects. You will also be required to interact with and configure PLC using Siemens Step 7 software.

Collaboration: Work cooperatively within the maintenance team and other departments, supporting a collaborative and respectful environment. Manage conflicting priorities, work independently, and demonstrate proactive and self-motivated behavior.

Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare and consumable stock levels. Provide regular reports to the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Master recherché

  • Electrical A Grade License (meeting requirements for working as a licensed electrician in the relevant area). Cert IV Industrial Electronics & Control
  • Strong fault finding, diagnosis and preventative maintenance of electrical equipment capability in an industrial setting
  • Familiarity with high voltage switching gear
  • Knowledge of factory instrumentation, including repair and replacement; flow meters, pressure switches, sensors and pneumatic devices
  • Experience with programming and configuring electrical drives and VSD, preferably with ABB equipment
  • Good computer skills for record-keeping and communication
  • Relevant certifications, such as low voltage rescue and CPR, confined space, forklift, and elevated work platform, are advantageous
