Friday 24th Jan 2020 marks another milestone at Boortmalt as our malting plant in Athy, Ireland, has transferred our first batch to steep at approx. 14:30 into the new 40KMT Buhler maltings.

This follows months of hard work by everyone involved and magnificently led by Boortmalt Athy Plant Performance Manager Noel Gaffney.

We are looking forward to making good quality malt to serve all our local and global customers from this new maltings.
