Description of role

As Group Project and Asset Care Manager reporting into the Chief Operations and Agriculture Officer, you are identifying strategic Project Management & Asset Care goals for Boortmalt Group and drive/ implement action plan(s) on a site per site basis over time & within business guidelines, to ensure that every project for every Boortmalt site is always delivered On Time In Full and On Budget and is also recognised as “best in class” for Safety, Health & Environmental Performance.

 Your core responsibilities will be to:

- Manage the standardisation and harmonisation of our Project Management and Asset Care culture and employee behaviour across all business units

         - Work with the Plant Performance & Engineering Managers to ensure all projects for the site & all asset care programs of the plant and equipment are in

            line with the strategic objectives for our business

         - Ensure that all plant and equipment is maintained and operated in accordance with laid down standards

         - Ensure that all project contractors working on site are made aware of the H & S rules and regulations and Insurance requirements are in place for all

            projects when appropriate

         - Ensure our project management and asset care systems and ways of working always present our employees, our sites and our Company in the most

            positive and professional manner to all visitors but especially customers

         - Prepare and operate within annual budgets to deliver agreed business process optimisation projects ad objectives for the business

 

 

 

Profile

Required skills

The person we are looking for has a proven experience in :

 

- Master degree or equivalent by experience, preferably in Science/Engineering

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in food industry environment ideally in Malting industry and within an international organisation

- The successfull candidate has developed abilities and facilitation skills to provide targeted/focussed continuous improvement drive & support change management with all levels of company organisation

- Strong knowledge of malting process

- Fluent in English, another language is a plus

 

Frequent travel is required.
