Description of role

As General Manager responsible for the region of Continental Western Europe and reporting to the Managing Director EU you will oversee,lead and drive all operations in Continental Western Europe including the development and execution of strategies for company growth and revenue increases in the region to ensure profitability of the company's affiliate in alignment with the Group business strategy and budget limitations.

Main responsibilities : 
- Own P&L in the region and drive growth and profitability increase in a region. 
- Lead the integration in the Continental Western European region (synergies, new culture, …)
- Define, suggest and adapt the business strategy of the group in the region as well as annual  budget plans and 5Y Plans
- Grow business relationships with existing and new customers. Deliver to the growing Craft segment.
- Identify local business opportunities and challenges to meet goals for performance and growth in the region
- Monitor the performance of CWE  businesses (cost&profitability reporting, monitoring forecast performance vs Budget, LE1, LE2
- Develop a 10 year plan to deliver a sustainable business over the long term
- Ensure long term sustainable Business (ops group strategies i& group risks implementation, Drive CSR & Sustainability Agenda) 
- Work with HR to maximise employee engagement and to develop specific measures and engagement activities.

Required skills

Master degree in science, business or any other relevant fields  
Minimum 10 years proven experience in similar position within a food industry, with a good understanding of operations and commercial aspects of malting business.
Fluent English , other languages are a plus.
