Description of role

The Corporate Sustainability Officer -reporting into the Chief Supply Chain and Sustainability Officer- helps to build the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, to monitor and drive the implementation and to measure the impact of Boortmalt's sustainability initiatives.
 
Your key responsibilities will be :
 
-             Act as global point of contact related to our sustainability strategy, initiatives and reporting
-             Act as a CSR business partner to our Plant Manager across the world (focused on decreasing emissions)
-             Be the global manager of the sustainability data and handle (Perfomance and Gap analysis, KPI Management,
              Input to CDP reporting, Input to Customer reporting, Input to Shareholders reporting)
-             Prepare the global sustainability data on : energy consumption, CO2 footprint, Scope 1-2-3, water consumption, farmer
              programs & certificates, water stress, waste & food waste
-             Support the business in providing reports and communication material, which can be used on the Intranet and or Internet
               to share our sustainability strategy, performance and achievments.
-             Prepare data and provide input to the different functions for their presentations on sustainability.
-             Prepare the sustainability data for the yearly reporting reporting and target setting

Required skills


-   Master degree (preferably) in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or any other relevant field that links with sustainability
-   Trackrecord in sustainability within a manufacturing environment (focus on decreasing emissions)
-   Strong proof of analytical skills linked to sustainability data-points
-   Familiarity with CDP and other sustainability indexes
-   Advanced knowledge of Excel and ideally knowledge of BI/Tableau
-   Excellent written and verbal communications skills
-   Demonstrated professional work characteristics including high initiative, dependability, and ability to manage confidential
     information
-   Maturity that ensures good communication with all levels of management: we are looking for a business partner
-   Good language skills: fluent in English and preferably 2 other languages.
