Maintenance AEI Technician (AEI = Automation Electrical & Instrumentation)

We are looking for an AEI Technician to join our Villaverde Malt Plant Team.
The successful candidate, together with the rest Villaverde Maintenance Team, will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, maintain the electrical installations & control equipment, expanding the current installation following the Operations needs, daily tasks such as troubleshooting and emergency repairs.
You are not responsible for one specific line or department, but manage the entire site health together with the rest of Villaverde Maintenance Team. As a result of this, there are a lot of different alternatives in the job letting the individual in this position to regularly gain new knowledge.
In addition, various internal and external training courses will be planned and taken to improve needed knowledge.
After a walk-in period, you will be part of the emergency on-call service of the site upon a established schedule.
You will also have rotating shifts.
- High school diploma in industrial electrical/electronic degree or equivalent through proven experience.
- Able to strictly follow all site and legal safety rules
- Knowledge of electrical/automation installations
- Reading and understanding electrical/automation diagrams
- Being able to make adjustments to existing cabinets, connect PLC cards & sensors.
- Being able to troubleshoot electrical cabinets and automation installations.
- Preventive maintenance: replace cables, motors, PLC cards, sensors, instruments, etc.
- Curious and eager to learn
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Driving license B / own transport
